Bayside Group 

The Bayside Group was established in 1976, and is Australian owned and operated by founding Directors Robert Blanche and John Wilson.

The Bayside Group has been recruiting for more than 30 years. With nearly 200 employees across Australia, the Bayside Group on-hires between 2,500 and 3,000 employees each week and places hundreds of permanent and executive professionals each year.

The Bayside Group has 10 offices across Australia located in South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia.

Key Milestones

 

1976

Bayside Drafting established, providing structural drafting services.

1978

Bayside Personnel established as a result of Bayside Drafting's ability to secure the best permanent and contract engineering and technical professionals for their needs.

1985

Offices in NSW & SA established.

1990

International division to Bayside Personnel established as a result of strategic contracts secured in the Middle East.

Austra Health brand established to provide nursing and medical professionals to local and international markets.

1992

WA presence established.

1994

Baytech brand established to meet the needs of our clients.

1995

Administration division established to meet needs of Bayside Personnel's clients, having been providing these services through the engineering division for many years.

1997

Executive division established, to meet the needs of the Bayside Group's clients.

1998

Queensland presence established.

CozWine brand established to service the wine industry.

1999

Bayside Drafting electrical and design division established. 

2004

Acquisition of Bridge Consulting, which integrated with our office recruitment team.

Acquisition of Techstaff, which provides scientific recruitment services.

2006

Quality management system for recruitment services certified to AS/NZS ISO 9001.

Victorian AHRI Award for People Management.

2007 Bayside supports national charity - Make A Wish Foundation Australia.

 2008 

Bayside Group launches business operations environmental program: SAVE (Support Awareness, Value the Environment).

Bayside Group introduces a procurement recruitment software for contingent workforces as part of Bayside's Recruitment Management System (RMS).

CozWine celebrates 10 years in recruiting for the wine industry.

Bayside Personnel celebrates 30 years in engineering and technical recruitment.

Bayside Personnel and Techstaff are awarded a 457 Labour Agreement by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship. The agreement gives Bayside Personnel and Techstaff the ability to sponsor overseas professionals on 457 visas for on-hired work in Australia. 

Bayside Group is awarded the ‘Proactive Contractor Recruitment and Training' supplier award by Ford Australia. 

 2009

Bayside supports national charity - Make A Wish Foundation Australia.

Bayside Group is awarded the ‘Tony Simpson Relationship' award by Ford Australia.
