What to take with you on assignment

It is essential that you carry your Austra Health identity card and your current NBV Registration card with you whenever you work.  Of course, do not forget your timesheet book.

Communicating your availability

Just let us know if you prefer mornings, a mixture of evening and night shifts, etc., and we will do our best to accommodate your preferences. 

Cancellation policy

Cancellation fees are payable if your shift is cancelled within 2 hours of the shift start, or, if you arrive at the hospital and your shift is then cancelled.

What should I wear while on assignment?

We supply 2 uniform shirts and an identity card to be worn on each assignment.

How many hours do I need to work?

Agency nursing has no minimum hours requirement but if you are sponsored you need to work a minimum of 38 hours a week.  This requirement is set by DIAC as a condition of a sponsorship visa and is not negotiable.
