Austra Health is here to guide you through every step of your application process - from initial submission, applying for your visa, to your arrival in Saudi Arabia.

Application Process

Interested applicants should register their interest with Austra Health.  You can utilise Austra Health's Resume Builder by clicking here.

Suitable applicants will be sent an application pack containing various application documents.  All documents should be completed and returned to Austra Health.

If short-listed, your application will be submitted to the relevant hospital.  It usually takes 2 - 4 weeks for the hospital to review your application.

The hospital may wish to conduct a telephone interview with you.  We will liaise with you to arrange a suitable time for the interview to take place.

Once an offer of employment has been received, we will get in touch to advise you of the details of the offer and discuss a departure date and relocation requirements.

Processing

After an official offer of employment has been made, Austra Health will send a contract package to you, which includes all of the documentation required for your visa.  Please complete all documents and return to Austra Health.

We will then arrange certification of your qualifications.

During processing you will be required to undergo a medical examination and a police check.

Once the medical examination has been completed and all relevant documents have been verified we will apply for your working visa.

As soon as an employment visa has been issued, Austra Health will forward your flight information and final package, including all of your original documents.

You will then be ready to depart for Saudi Arabia!

Eligibility

Please note, to be eligible to work in Saudi hospitals, you must have a minimum of 2 years experience and hold current Nursing Registration.  Due to visa and processing requirements, Austra Health is only able to assist individuals holding Australian or New Zealand passports.
