King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre

The King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSH&RC) in Riyadh is an 890+ bed tertiary medical and research facility.  Located in the capital city of Saudi Arabia, the hospital is the national referral centre for oncology, organ transplantations, cardiac surgery, genetic diseases and more.

The Hospital has a staff of over 8,000 comprising 63 different nationalities.  Nursing staff come from all over the world including United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Europe, Philippines, Saudi Arabia and other countries.

National Guard King Abdulaziz Medical Cities - Riyadh

National Guard Health Affairs (NGHA) is one of the largest health organizations in the Kingdom providing modern medical care to National Guard employees & their dependents, as well as to Saudi Nationals with tertiary health problems.

Under the umbrella of NGHA, there are four hospitals and sixty primary and secondary health centers around the Kingdom. Two of these hospitals are Imam AbdulRahman Al-Faisal Hospital (IAAFH) in Dammam and King Abdulaziz Hospital (KAH) in Al Ahsa.

The other two hospitals have expanded over the last few years to become major medical cities; namely King Abdulaziz Medical City (KAMC) in Riyadh and KAMC in Jeddah.

KAMC in Riyadh is a 1025-bed tertiary care facility specialising in the treatment of cancer, renal and hepatic failure and cardiovascular services.  It is staffed by professionals from many countries including USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.  

KAMC Jeddah is a 531-bed hospital located in the coastal city of Jeddah.  It includes the new King Abdulaziz Oncology Centre, which is the primary oncology research and treatment centre for the National Guard in Saudi Arabia.

Prince Sultan Cardiac Centre

The Prince Sultan Cardiac Centre (PSCC) is located within the grounds of the Military Hospital in Riyadh.  It was once a part of the Military Hospital until it was decided to expand the facilities and a new hospital was built in 1996.

PSCC now provides a major portion of the cardiac treatment in Saudi with a full range of diagnostic and management facilities for patients ranging in age from the neonate through to the elderly.  The institution has an excellent reputation both in the Gulf and the West for the quality of its patient care and the results achieved.

The Centre is a four-story, five-level building designed to accommodate 158 beds.  As a tertiary centre for Saudi, the new facility provides cardiology patients and cardiac surgery services with a highly sophisticated computerised intensive care charting system.

The Hospital contains four clinical departments: Adult Cardiology, Paediatric Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery and Cardiac Anaesthesia and ICU.   

Saudi Aramco
