Specialist recruiter, Bayside Personnel Australia Pty. Ltd, under the Bridge Consulting brand, has been awarded a contract with multi-billion dollar Saudi Arabian research facility, the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Recruitment for the facility has already commenced for staff to work in satellite offices prior to the official opening of the university, scheduled for September 2009.
KAUST is situated 80 kilometres north of Jeddah on the Red Sea and is dedicated to the scientific achievements and technological advancements from around the world. The university is an initiative of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the current Saudi monarch. King Abdullah intends for the university to showcase Saudi modernism and hopes it will lure prominent international academics as well as foreign scholars seeking world-class facilities.
Bridge Consulting, a leading Australian recruiter, is emerging as a fierce competitor in the higher education sector. Under contract guidelines, Bridge Consulting will recruit skilled professionals from Australia, New Zealand and South Africa for a wide range of administrative support roles, including accountants, program analysts, and HR specialists.
