Bayside Group wins Ford Recognition Award


On 30 April 2009, Ford Motor Company [Australia] held its annual Supplier Excellence Awards presenting the Bayside Group with a Recognition Award for ‘Proactive Contractor Recruitment and Training' in 2008.

"Today is an extremely proud moment for the Group and it is with honour that we accept this award," said Bayside Group Director, Robert Blanche.

"Over the years, we have strived to strengthen Ford's automotive engineering and design teams by continually improving upon our performance and professionalism. In this instance, we have exceeded our own expectations of what is possible when a unified partnership is embodied and actioned within every aspect of our operations."

Special recognition is intended to distinguish suppliers for an outstanding contribution in a particular area. Ford Australia awards this honour to top performing suppliers in recognition of their superior quality, delivery and performance which is demonstrated consistently.

"The commitment from our contract and on-hired staff as well as our recruitment consultants truly exemplifies why we are deserving of this outstanding achievement. Joe Galea, senior account manager, worked endlessly to bring all divisions together and forge the way," explains Blanche, "We hope to enjoy more of this kind of success moving forward."

The Bayside Group has supplied personnel to Ford Australia for more than 20 years. Placements of candidates have been within various roles across the organisation. The Ford Recognition Award was presented to four of the Bayside Group's specialist recruitment divisions: Bayside Personnel, Bridge Consulting, Baytech, and Austra Heath.
